B2B Suite

The elgentos B2B Suite.

A set of Magento 2 extensions we built over a decade of B2B projects - quote flows, customer portals, account switching, the lot. Battle-tested in production, open source where it makes sense.

The suite in short

Magento's flexibility is why B2B organisations with complex processes, large catalogues and deep integrations keep picking it. The suite doubles down on that: modular components, built to last, wired for the way you actually sell.

Why we build this

Because every growing B2B hits the same wall.

As B2B organisations scale, they run into the same recurring problems:

  • Vendor lock-in and no room for customisation (typical with SaaS tools)
  • Custom work that will not scale
  • Business logic smeared across dozens of modules
  • Tech debt that makes every change expensive
  • No clear line between feature development and maintenance

The elgentos B2B Suite is our answer. Not a one-off custom job on a sealed-shut platform, but modular building blocks you can extend in a controlled way.

Want to know which of these your own shop already has? Our free B2B webshop scan asks eleven questions about your ordering process, customer portal, B2B self service and technology, and puts your score on screen right away.

What is in it

19 modular components - and a roadmap.

Each block is production-tested at elgentos clients. Pick the ones you need, compose them, extend them. All built on top of Magento core - no vendor lock-in to us.

01
Bedrijven & accounts

Company Accounts

  • Bedrijven als volwaardig onderdeel van Magento
  • Meerdere gebruikers per organisatie
  • Automatische koppeling op basis van e-mailadres of domein
  • Fundament voor pricing, rechten en bestelflows
In practice

A wholesaler in the installation industry ran into a common B2B challenge: several engineers needed to place orders on behalf of the same organisation, while everyone worked from one shared account. There was no distinction between users, roles or responsibilities.

We implemented Company Accounts. Multiple employees now order within a single company account, each with their own user profile and the matching roles and permissions. The ordering process mirrors the customer's organisational structure, and the company keeps control over who is allowed to do what.

02
Meerdere bedrijven

Multi Company Accounts

In practice

In the B2B market a customer is often involved with several organisations. Think of buyers who are active on behalf of different companies within the same webshop.

With Multi Company Accounts one customer account is linked to multiple companies, instead of a separate account per company. When the customer switches organisation, pricing agreements and access rights are adjusted automatically.

03
Customer-specific prices

Company Pricing

  • Customer-specific prices per company, visible straight after logging in
  • Tiered prices and volume discounts: the unit price drops as the quantity grows
  • Contract prices decoupled from standard Magento pricing
  • Built for ERP-driven pricing logic
In practice

ICTSpecialist wanted to show customer-specific prices to its business customers.

We implemented Company Pricing. Pricing agreements are set per company, so customers see their own prices immediately after logging in. Alongside fixed sales prices, monthly lease amounts are shown on the product pages as well.

The solution also supports company-specific spending limits. The checkout automatically verifies whether an order stays within the agreed limits.

Setting up customer-specific prices in a webshop comes down to a handful of choices. At what level do you record the agreement: per company, per product, or a combination of the two? Do you work with fixed contract prices, with a discount on the list price, or with tiers where the unit price drops once a customer buys more? And what do visitors who are not logged in get to see - the list price, or no price at all (that is what Required Login & Hide Prices is for)?

Company Pricing sits alongside standard Magento pricing rather than on top of it, so pricing agreements, regular prices and promotions do not get in each other's way. In most projects the ERP is the source of those agreements: the prices, tiers and contracts are already maintained there and get synced to the webshop through the integration. The webshop does not calculate the agreement itself, it shows what was agreed in the ERP - see the Business Central module for what such an integration looks like.

04
Klantgoedkeuring

Customer Approval

  • Nieuwe accounts eerst goedkeuren
  • Volledige controle over wie toegang krijgt
  • Ideaal voor groothandel en afgeschermde omgevingen
In practice

Not every visitor to a B2B webshop needs immediate access to the business environment. With Customer Approval, new accounts are approved first.

Only after approval does a customer get access to the webshop. That keeps your organisation in control of who can log in, and prevents customer-specific prices, products or other gated information from being available to everyone.

05
Afgeschermde webshop

Required Login & Hide Prices

  • Webshop alleen zichtbaar na inloggen
  • Prijzen verbergen voor gastgebruikers
  • Conversiegericht: login of account aanmaken verplicht
In practice

With Required Login & Hide Prices you decide what information visitors get to see. The webshop can be made accessible only after logging in, or prices can be hidden from visitors who are not logged in.

Visitors are then sent to the option to log in or create an account. That keeps you in control of who gets access to the webshop and which information is visible.

06
Productdocumentatie

Product Attachments

  • Handleidingen, datasheets en certificaten per product
  • Ondersteuning voor meerdere bestanden
  • Ideaal voor technische B2B-catalogi
In practice

A product description is not always enough, certainly not for B2B products. Customers need additional information: a manual, datasheet, certificate or technical specifications. When those documents are not directly available, customers have to hunt for them or request them from the sales support team.

With Product Attachments multiple documents are added straight to a product. Customers find all relevant product information in one place.

As a result customers get to the right information faster, and the sales support team receives fewer questions about product documentation.

07
Snel bestellen

Quick Order

  • Bestellen op SKU + aantal
  • Upload CSV voor grotere orders
  • Perfect voor repeat orders
  • Grote tijdsbesparing voor vaste klanten
In practice

In the B2B market customers often order the same products. Looking all of those up in the webshop over and over costs unnecessary time.

With Quick Order customers order straight by SKU. They enter the item number and the quantity they want, and quickly add multiple products to their order. Larger order? A CSV file with item numbers and quantities can be uploaded instead.

For returning customers who regularly place large or recurring orders in particular, this makes the ordering process considerably faster and simpler.

08
Slim herbestellen

Reorder Alternatives

In practice

Reordering based on an earlier order is very common for business customers. But what happens when a previously ordered product is out of stock or has been removed from the range?

With Reorder Alternatives the customer immediately sees a suitable alternative while reordering when a product is unavailable. That alternative can be determined automatically using AI, and alternative products can be set manually as well.

This keeps a reorder from getting stuck when a product is no longer available. The customer simply picks a suitable alternative and completes the order. That not only makes for a friendlier ordering process, it also means fewer questions for the sales support team.

09
Store Locator

Store Locator

  • Vestigingen tonen op kaart
  • Google Maps integratie
  • Geschikt voor dealers, verkooppunten of afhaallocaties
In practice

When an organisation has multiple locations at home and abroad, a long list tends to appear in which visitors struggle to find the right location quickly.

A Store Locator makes that considerably easier. Visitors enter an address, postcode or country and see the nearest locations. No more long lists, just the most relevant results straight away.

For organisations with many locations, dealers, pickup points or sales points spread across different regions, a store locator is the answer. Visitors find the right location faster, while the website stays clear and easy to use.

10
Offertes & projecten

Offertes / Projecten

  • Meerdere offertes per gebruiker of bedrijf
  • Handig voor projecten, afdelingen of herhaalbestellingen
11
BTW-weergave

BTW-switcher

  • Toon prijzen inclusief en/of exclusief btw
  • Inzichtelijk voor zakelijke beslissers
  • Geschikt voor internationale klanten
In practice

A VAT switcher lets visitors move easily between prices including and excluding VAT. Particularly useful for webshops serving both business and consumer customers.

Business customers usually look at prices excluding VAT, while consumers are used to prices including VAT. With the VAT switcher every visitor picks the price display that fits their situation.

12
Extra beveiliging

Frontend 2FA

  • TOTP-gebaseerde tweefactorauthenticatie voor klanten
  • 2FA afdwingen per klantengroep
  • Optionele self-service setup via Mijn Account
  • 2FA-reset vanuit de backend per klant
In practice

A password alone is not always enough. Certainly not when the B2B webshop gives access to sensitive information such as order history, invoices, customer-specific prices and company details.

Frontend 2FA adds an extra security layer to the login process. Alongside the password, the customer uses a temporary verification code from an authenticator app.

2FA can be made mandatory per customer group. Customers can also set up the security themselves, and an administrator can reset the 2FA setting from the backend when needed.

14
Orderreferenties

Sales Order Reference

  • Referentievelden per order
  • Geschikt voor inkoopnummers of kostenplaatsen
  • Voorbereid op ERP-koppelingen
In practice

For business orders an order number alone is often not enough. Companies work with purchase order numbers or cost centres to match orders to the right internal administration. When that information is missing, it creates extra manual work afterwards.

With Sales Order Reference customers add a reference to their order during checkout. Think of a purchase order number or a cost centre. The reference is stored with the order, so it is easy to find later on.

The module is also ready for ERP integrations. That way the order reference travels along in the further processing of the order, and the webshop aligns with the internal purchasing and administrative processes of business customers.

15
Catalogusrechten

Catalog Permissions

  • Producten of categorieën per klantgroep
  • Vervanging voor standaard group-catalog modules
  • Volledig in lijn met B2B-logica
In practice

Not every customer wants to see the same products. To make the webshop as usable as possible, we built Catalog Permissions. A customer only sees the product pages that match their own organisation.

Per customer or customer group, the system determines which categories and product pages are visible. The customer logs in and immediately sees their own menu with a relevant range. The rest of the catalogue stays hidden.

16
Betalen op factuur

On Invoice

  • Betalen op rekening op basis van voorwaarden
  • Automatisch in- of uitschakelen
  • Voorbereid op kredietchecks
In practice

Paying up front is not always the norm for business customers. Many B2B organisations work with fixed payment agreements, where customers pay their order on invoice. Not every customer automatically qualifies for that.

With On Invoice, paying on invoice becomes available based on preset conditions. The payment method is therefore enabled or disabled automatically per customer.

The module is also ready for credit checks, which let you determine whether a customer qualifies for paying on invoice. That way the payment option matches the payment agreements and credit policy of the organisation.

17
Backorder management

Backorders

  • All backorders in one admin grid, with expected delivery date, status and notes per order line
  • Live state computed from existing Magento order data - no duplicate storage
  • Customers track their backorders in My Account (Hyvä)
  • Optional company-wide backorder overview via Company Accounts
In practice

When a product is temporarily out of stock, a customer usually cannot order it. In B2B that is not always the case: a product can be ordered as a backorder and delivered at a later moment. With several outstanding orders it then becomes hard to keep track of what still has to be delivered, and when.

With Backorders all backorders come together in a single overview. Per order line the expected delivery date, the status and any notes are visible. The current status is calculated from the existing Magento order data.

Customers can also follow their outstanding backorders themselves through their account. In combination with Company Accounts, a company-wide overview can be offered as well, so the relevant backorders within one organisation are visible in one place.

18
OCI/cXML integration

Punchout

  • OCI/cXML connection with procurement systems like SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle and Proactis
  • One connection, no separate integration per customer
  • Buyers shop in your own catalogue and prices; the order returns to their system
  • Automatic order confirmations - live within days
In partnership with Abeta
In practice

A technical wholesaler wanted to support its business customers with specific functionality, including an OCI Punchout integration.

That integration is aimed primarily at large buyers who manage their purchasing process from their own ERP or procurement system. Thanks to the OCI Punchout integration, buyers select products in the webshop straight from their own system, without logging in manually first. The shopping cart is then sent back to their own purchasing system, where the order can be completed according to the existing internal processes.

This makes the ordering process more efficient, reduces errors and lets the webshop fit seamlessly into the customer's existing purchasing processes.

19
ERP integration

Business Central

  • Connection with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Products, stock and prices synced automatically
  • Orders flow straight from the webshop into the ERP - no manual rekeying
  • Customer-specific prices and agreements straight from Business Central
In partnership with Nvision
In practice

Alius ran into pricing data that was not always synchronised correctly, and specific pricing logic such as tiered prices that was not processed properly in the checkout. As a result customers could see incorrect prices, or pricing agreements were not always applied correctly.

To solve this we connected Microsoft Business Central to Magento, together with our integration partner NVision Commerce Solutions. We implemented the B2B Suite, optimised the integration and developed patches for specific edge cases. Customer data, product prices, tiered prices, stock and order status are now synchronised continuously and reliably, and the pricing logic in the webshop works correctly again.
