A4H-Tech — formerly All4Honda — supplies performance parts for Honda's and other Japanese cars to enthusiasts around the world. With more than 10,000 products from 150+ suppliers, customers across Europe, and a proprietary Partfinder, this is a webshop where speed and precision matter. We've been working together for years and keep developing the shop continuously.
The collaboration started with a migration from the old platform to Magento 2 and has never stopped. We built the shop from the ground up and developed it step by step — from Luma to Hyvä, from Algolia to ElasticSuite, and from a national to an international webshop.
Our own Partfinder makes it possible to link all 10,000+ products to specific car models. A customer selects make, model and year and immediately sees only the parts that fit. This reduces search time, prevents returns and has drastically reduced customer support calls. The Partfinder data is indexed for fast filtering and works seamlessly with the Varnish cache.
The search functionality originally ran on Algolia, but has switched to ElasticSuite. This provides more control, better integration with the Partfinder filters and no more external dependencies.
Searching by article code, product name or supplier code immediately delivers the right results.
A4H-Tech sells from the Netherlands to customers in Germany, Spain and the rest of Europe. We set up a multi-store structure with separate storeviews and translations per language. Business customers see prices excluding VAT, with automatic VAT validation at checkout.
A4H-Tech ships packages of all shapes and sizes worldwide. We built an algorithm that calculates the optimal packaging and cheapest carrier per order — based on weight, dimensions and destination.
In addition to private customers, A4H-Tech also serves business customers with their own pricing agreements. We implemented B2B functionality with exclusive VAT display, VAT number management and customer group-specific prices.
The shop is continuously maintained with Magento upgrades (now at 2.4.8), a fully redesigned email template, Klaviyo for email marketing, Channable for product feeds and Sentry for error monitoring. CI/CD via GitLab with review environments ensures we can release quickly and safely.
